As excited as I was when I opened my college-in-a-box shipment of books, I can't say that they drastically improved my studying skills. I'll review each course/book separately.
Accelerated Distance Learning - 1 star - It's not a bad book, but it's also not necessary to read. It has all sorts of information about distance learning and how to do it, but since those doing CP have a coach to sort it out for them I don't think this book is needed. It should be sold separately rather than in a set of things that you have to buy.
Maximum Speed Reading - 3 stars - This only brought my reading speed to 300 words per minute, but considering that I started at about 150 it did double my speed. For some people this course makes a drastic difference, while for others it doesn't help at all. You have to try it to see if it works for you.
Dynamic Memory and Study Skills - 1 star - This course is boring and difficult to understand. It only helped my memory slightly and it required a lot of work. It also has many errors throughout it.
Advanced Communication Series - 3 stars - I have not finished this course, yet. But, I have enjoyed watching the videos so far. The printable assignments are not helpful for me in writing. The method of following a formula in writing a paper did not make my writing better, instead it made it worse! The rest of the course and videos do look promising, so I have not completely given up on this course yet.
Cracking the Clep - 5 stars - This book looks like it will come in handy when I take an actual Clep. It is full of multiple choice questions similar to those that you would find on a Clep test.

I was very pleased with the shipping time; it took less than 5 days. I can't wait to dive in and begin my studies.

Required reading for enrollment, this is a great place to start learning study skills and habits that will help you later in life. If you know your own study styles well, like I did when reading this material, it may seem basic.
